STUDY SKILLS

There is no such thing as one successful, ultimate way of studying – each learner has his/her preferences when studying but there are always very helpful hints and guidelines which can make this process easier and they must be given the opportunity to be aware of these methods. Remember that all children have their own unique learning style and preferences and thus our study skills course is tailor made to accommodate these differences.

How is this done?

An initial assessment will establish which methods (mind maps or linear) are best suited for the learner and then appropriate skills and strategies will be introduced to the child. Memory devices will be developed and follow up sessions will ensure that these newly acquired skills are being put into practice.

We pride ourselves in providing children with appropriate life skills and other courses are in the process of development.
