Sarah – Jane Goosen (BEd Psych Hons) (Cum Laude)

Sarah is the founder of Square – Peg Training and Development, in Fourways Johannesburg and hopes to enrich, empower, encourage and enlighten all those that cross her path.

Sarah is a registered Counsellor with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, and has been in private practice since 2006. In addition, she is registered with the South African Council for Educators, as an Educator. Sarah has a way with people who tend to bond with her easily and enjoy their time spent with her. She hopes to complete her Masters in Psychology in the near future.

Sarah is also an associate of Dr Annette Lotter and Associates and prides herself in being an Edu–Profilogist who makes use of Genetic Brain Profiling before she works closely with any child, parent or family member. She has also attended and successfully completed the course, presented by Willie Erasmus (Clinical Psychologist) in Learner Facilitation and has the necessary skills and strategies to function in a school environment as a learner's facilitator. She aims to introduce, encourage and promote such a concept in schools with the hope of making inclusive education a reality within the Gauteng schooling system. She believes that we have much to learn from schools in the Western Cape with this regard. Sarah is passionate about teaching and is an advocate for alternative education.
